- I am an author with books published in US with Universal Publishers. Currently these books are in use at US Universities as well as outside US. My new book is almost ready on "21st Century Expectations: Education Meeting the Knowledge Economy". I have also included a New Classification for Skills Development. I live in Sri Lanka. I did my MA &; PhD in Educational Measurement and Evaluation at University of Iowa in 1976 on a Fulbright Scholarship. I have worked in 18 different countries in Asia, Africa, Europe and USA and bring with me wide and interesting experience in international education and development issues. I served University of Sri Lanka nearly 18 years and then joined the UN in 1987, the World Bank in 1991 and subsequently served many bi-lateral development agencies including USAID to serve in different projects in different developing countries. I serve as an education specialist and policy adviser to governments in Asia and Africa particularly on Knowledge Economy and Educational Reforms.
