Hello Sir, appreciate your effort to uplift the education in the country. I would like to suggest you to add a corporate/private sector responsibility of helping poor children in their education. Most of big corporates has their CSR budget and they mainly spent them on strategic marketing purposes. But it is important them to spent their CSR budgets on non strategic marketing areas like education. In present Sri Lankan society there is a great demand to increase govt education spending up to 6% of GDP. It is a difficult task for developing world governments to do so. So Corporates has a huge role to play here. I heard that Sri Lankan corporates spent more than 1000 million on CSR projects ( This figure is not accurate but should be more than this. You can get the real figures from CSR lanka and other organizations) if there is system among corporates to pool some amount of these money for education we can do a huge impact. Also private schools also can play a major role in providing education for poor. Hope my ideas might be useful for you.
